Port Taranaki, located on New Zealand’s west coast of the North Island, is a key deep water import and export port, handling a wide diversity of cargoes.
ABPmer was commissioned by Port Taranaki to help them establish a pro-active approach to port risk management. We provided a four module system for the port. With input from the port, we customised the MARNIS Port Assessment Toolkit with digital charts, risk control options, hazard categories and other listings.
After software installation at Port Taranaki, we provided ongoing support and a manual for use by port stakeholders.
